Created by JL Umipig, a multi-disciplinary artist and cultural/knowledge bearer centered on intergenerational liberation and decolonization work. The Kapwa Tarot is an integrated artistic creation that is the result of the artist's identity as a Pilipinx in a process of connecting to the Divine. It transforms the origins of Tarot to serve as a teaching tool around belief and to understand the lessons that the Tarot means to offer, through the lens of decolonization, re-indigenization and the remembering of Kapwa (the shared self).

- Honoring of Sacred Symbology. Rooting back to ancient knowledge taught to us all through a union, conversation and intertwining of the divine. In all the elements and the relation of their ecology we find lessons.
